Heeley Swimming Pool on Broadfield Road

Heeley Swimming Pool is holding a special event next Monday to celebrate their 100th anniversary.  There will also be a fundraising swim to raise money for the Sheffield Children’s Hospital.  You can find out more by downloading the flyer, but if you do want to attend the celebrations you need to contact the pool by this Wednesday.

You can read a brief history of the baths, including the old Russian steam room, in an article that recently appeared in The Star.  They are currently trying to put together a memory board of the pool’s history, and so do get in touch with the baths if you can help with your memories.
